Ah Saturday comes once again, personally a quiet weekend last week, but making up for it this week. Last week saw a couple of football trades that showed the importance of paying attention and having a exit plan. if you had played them sensibly all would have resulted in a green, but there were times where you could have got out for a small red and kept the view of protecting your bank. but make sure you understand what plays are available to you, and their impacts. A mistake I have seen several times is that people tend to concentrate too much on one market, and forget that other markets are in play and in some instance there is already money riding on them.
Today see the return of the 6 nations and a full league fixture. Wales travel to Italy, where hopefully confidence has returned, same team that beat the French, but Italy shouldn't be a push over. They have lost their captain, but will be looking to restore pride on their own turf. Hard game ahead , and again the hotshot markets provide an opportunity for me. England entertain the tricky French, the French have their tales between their legs, and i fully expect them to come out fighting, England have made their intentions to attack clear so the theory says an entertaining game. i think that total match tries may be a bit light on the Spreads, along with a small speculative look at the shirt numbers.
Enjoyed the football in the week, and again the pressure mounts on Arsne Wenger, his team just has no spine. Chelsea got them selves out of jail, just. The match I really enjoyed was the Liverpool game, I missed the alleged Suarez stamp, but did enjoy his free kicks, and even though Joe fallen scored I am still not as convinced as Rodgers is about him. looking at today's games there may be some value with Everton, WBA and Inverness, but staying away from the Arsenal game.
I see the weather has had its say again with the horses with the Newcastle meeting called off and tomorrows meet at Fontwell also under threat. Be careful at Chepstow, can be a bit of a specialists courses, and Kempton has decent races on the go as well. Couple to keep an eye to: Ravens Brook in the 1445 Chepstow, Chris Pea Green at Kempton 1405.
