Nearly The Weekend

Well the tennis hasn't done too bad, one of the portfolio into the final, so some nice green no matter the result.  The men's group didn't last the pace, but did provide some good trading options. My outside tip for  the loser, Brit Andy Murray, has a good chance now (kiss of death just given!!!) and at 15's it wasn't a bad investment. there have been some pretty good trading opportunities and this has been the first time I've really showed a large interest, so even before the finals the bank is bigger than when I started, although I did manage a few stupid red days on the way.  Must learn more discipline!!!

Whilst the tennis has been able to keep going during this wonderful summer, the horses have suffered.  For my local course Perth to be off due to water logging during the summer is just getting beyond a joke. And is this weekend going to any better? A couple of high class races at risk, we'll have to wait and see.

I was looking forward to the weekend and the British Grand Prix, but it is now 50/50 if I have to go to work... not happy.  Fancy McLaren to pull some speed back over Red Bull, but I also expect the Red Bull to rectify the electrical problem that thwarted Vettel last time out, and with Ferrari running well the makings of a good race beckon.  thoughts also with Maria De Villota and her family, test drivers often under rated and forgotten about, especially the females.  So lets hope she gets well soon.

Football updates seem to coming thick and fast, Fifa have finally agreed technology must play a part in the game, but why wait for over a year? Perhaps they to reduce the redundancies of some Russian linesmen.  The long term secrets of AVB to Spurs and RVP wasn't staying at Arsenal finally came out, and Rangers got the middle finger that was coming to them. My local team are now involved in the SPL farce, The Pars finished bottom last season and were rightly regulated, but now the feeling seems to be that the club that finished 2nd in Div should be now promoted and The Pars stay down!!  Why? There is no legal right, there is no reason, and the only precedent is for the regulated team to stay up!!! But quite surprisingly The Pars supporters seem quite contend to be regulated and not be part of the farce and conspiracy that is the SPL.

Looks like Gavin Henson could soon be back in play, lets hope he knuckles down a bit and shows what he is really capable of.  Also got my applications for next season's 6 nations, minimum cost £50 a ticket, I had better make sure I've got some good greens behind me. Meanwhile the fixture dates can be found at 6 Nations Fixtures 2013

Anyway back to some study for the Open.

Good Luck
